ADOB® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate (Epsom salt) is a specialty fertiliser with high concentrations of magnesium (MgO; 16.3%) and sulphur (SO₃; 32.5%). Owing to a patented production process, ADOB® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is characterised by several unique properties. The solubility of the product is 0.7kg/l at 20^oC and its rapid and complete dissolution in water makes the nutrients quickly available to plants. The fertiliser is formulated as 100% water-soluble, free-flowing crystals without any impurities. As a result of relatively low hygroscopicity, there is no risk of caking.

ADOB® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is an effective source of magnesium and sulphur and is mainly recommended for foliar application, hydroponics and fertigation. The high concentration of nutrients in this fertiliser meets the needs of even the most demanding plants. It is recommended for preventive and corrective fertilisation of all crops.

It also enhances the catalytic activity of many enzymes by establishing a precise geometry between the enzyme and its substrate. Sulphur is a uniquely important part of three amino acids, making it essential for all known structural and functional proteins (enzymes). It is especially crucial for oil and protein crops, which explains why it is considered as the third major plant nutrient after nitrogen and phosphorus for oilseed, soybean, forage and maize. An increasing amount of new evidence points to the high importance of sulphur in plant defence mechanisms against biotic and abiotic stresses.
